Who offers them

The site, the Demuxer account and the apps are offered by Demuxer Consultoria em Tecnologia da Informação Ltda., CNPJ 66.436.339/0001-43, Rua Pais Leme, 215, suite 1713, Pinheiros, São Paulo, SP, 05424-150, Brazil.

By downloading, installing or using an app, or by creating a Demuxer account, you accept these terms. If you use them on behalf of a company, you state that you have the authority to accept them for it.

License

The apps are licensed, not sold. Demuxer grants you a personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable license to use them:

• for non-commercial use, free of charge, with the complete app and no account;
• for commercial use, only with an active paid plan: Commercial Individuals, Commercial Organizations or All Products Pack.

Commercial use is use at work or in any for-profit activity, including for an employer or a client. Study, personal projects and non-profit open-source projects are non-commercial use.

Plans, seats and machines

• Each seat belongs to one person and covers up to three machines in each app.
• On Commercial Organizations, the account owner chooses how many seats to buy, invites people by e-mail and assigns the seats. Machines without internet access can be activated with a license key.
• The All Products Pack includes every Demuxer app, including those launched during the subscription, at no extra cost.

Payment and trial

• Paid plans are billed monthly, per seat, in Brazilian reais, through Stripe.
• Plans start with a trial period. When it ends, billing starts unless the subscription is cancelled first.
• A price change applies from the period after the notice, sent by e-mail at least 30 days in advance.

Cancellation and withdrawal

You can cancel the subscription at any time from your Demuxer account. The plan stays valid until the end of the period already paid, and there are no prorated refunds.

On your first subscription to a plan, you may withdraw within seven days and get back what you paid, as article 49 of Brazil's Consumer Protection Code provides. Ask at support@demuxer.com.br.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account details accurate and your password secret, and for what is done with your account. If you suspect misuse, tell Demuxer at support@demuxer.com.br.

What is not allowed

• getting around or disabling the licensing, or using an app commercially without an active plan;
• using more seats or machines than you pay for, or sharing a seat between people;
• reselling, sublicensing, renting or distributing the apps;
• decompiling or reverse engineering the apps, except where the law allows it;
• using the apps to access systems without the permission of whoever is responsible for them.

Your systems and your data

The apps act on your clusters, databases, brokers and APIs with your credentials and the permissions they hold. You are responsible for what you run through them, such as deleting resources, documents, topics or messages. Take special care in production environments.

Updates

The apps tell you when a new version is out. Demuxer may change, add or remove features, without taking away from a paid plan, during the period already paid, what it promises.

Intellectual property

The apps, the Demuxer, Kuberniq, Mongiq, Kafiq and Apiq marks, the icons and the content of the site belong to Demuxer. These terms transfer no right over them beyond the license to use the apps.

Warranty and liability

The apps are provided as is. To the extent the law allows, Demuxer is not liable for indirect damages, lost profits or loss of data arising from the use of the apps, and Demuxer's total liability is limited to what you paid in the 12 months before the event.

Nothing in these terms limits the rights Brazil's Consumer Protection Code grants consumers.

Suspension and termination

Demuxer may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, with notice by e-mail. You may close your account at any time. When it is closed, the commercial-use license ends.

Changes to these terms

When these terms change, we update the date at the top of this page. Relevant changes are announced by e-mail to people with a Demuxer account at least 30 days in advance. Continuing to use the apps after that means accepting the new terms.

Law and venue

These terms are governed by Brazilian law. If you are a consumer, the courts of your domicile have jurisdiction; otherwise, the courts of São Paulo, SP.
